CONCRETE MOISTURE TESTING

Testing concrete slabs for excess moisture has become a common construction requirement, particularly where flooring or impermeable membranes are to be installed on top of the slab. Problems with floor coverings, such as bubbles, blisters, and delamination, occur when an impermeable floor covering or sealer traps excess moisture remaining in the slab. Fortunately, our experience and tests can help determine if the moisture content in a slab is within an acceptable range for various impermeable coverings.

FLOOR COVERING REPAIRS

The floors in homes and businesses, whether they be wood or covered with vinyl or carpeting, take a lot of abuse. Floors exposed to heavy traffic suffer occasional damage and require spot repairs. We offer floor covering inspections. Our inspectors are experienced in the inspection and failure analysis of woven carpet, broadloom carpet, resilient tile, rubber tile, cork tile, ceramic tile, resilient sheet vinyl, vinyl composition tile, hardwood, laminate, solid vinyl and specialty flooring materials. We are certified through the National Institute of Certified Floorcovering Inspectors. We offer inspections in the Southeast - Georgia, Florida, North and South Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana.
